AMEA came to life when I started on a journey to find an affordable premium fashion piece that would subtly showcase my Chinese zodiac heritage with an air of elegance and a real fashion statement, all the while embracing eco-friendly materials that would stand the test of time. Faced with the void of such a distinct piece in the market, I took matters into my own hands and decided to craft it myself as a passion piece and as a result AMEA was born hoping that the world would fall head over heels for it too. The textile industry has a long history of tense relationships with both the people and the planet. We have chosen to only work with manufacturers that have sustainability and care for our planet at the core of its structure. AMEA clothes are all made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton (Global Textile Standard) grown from seeds that have not been genetically modified (non-GMO) and cultivated without the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers.
